After careful consideration, the ICEC 2020 organising committee has decided that ICEC 2020 will take place in an online format. We are expecting a great amount of international guests and as the situation with COVID-19 is not improving at the moment, we find that the decision to have a virtual event is the safest option for everyone.
Due to the online format, we have decided that the online event will now extend to 5 days instead of 4.

The conference provides a forum for the presentation and discussion of the latest developments in the field of electric contacts and the application of recent advances in materials and processes in electric, electronic and telecommunication equipment.
Practicing designers, engineers, physicists and research scientists – those new to the field and those experienced will find this conference very beneficial for learning as well as providing opportunities for international networking. The international contributors come from universities and industries in all over the globe. These papers provide the attendees with up-to-date information on a wide range of subjects that makes this conference so attractive to the practicing engineer.

Due to the COVID-19 situation still affecting us greatly, the committee is looking at different options. A decision will be made during February if the event will take place in Rorschach, Switzerland or will be converted to a full digital event.

We are currently in process of updating all information and contact authors, delegates, sponsors, keynote speakers and other important stakeholders. Please watch this space during this transition period.

The committee is currently finalising the program with all the presentation slots. All authors must register and pay no later than March, 7th 2021. The first draft of the detailed programm will be available mid March 2021. Early bird prices are closing March 7th, 2021.
